I am of the opinion that The Bionic Woman has been picked up. I will tell you why. Tomorrow the entertainment news program, Access Hollywood will be doing a story on the new Bionic Woman and an interview with Michelle Ryan. I saw a preview of it tonight. They showed Michelle doing some wire work.
I live on the east coast of the US and in my area Access Hollywood is on at 7PM. I will watch and will record it. After it airs I will describe in detail the piece and report any news, which I think is now a foregone conclusion.
I started this thread as a place to report any ads, news, TV commercials, actor interviews and other promotional material leading up to the launch of the series. |

Now you know what it's like to be a Doctor Who fan in America.
The story was a minute and a half long. They described The Bionic Woman as a "NBC fall drama pilot." They basically showed scenes from the trailer and a clip of Michelle being suspended on set with a wire harness. They also showed her practicing kick boxing. The few brief sound bites of her interview came directly from the interview they printed on their website. The clips were very brief. They showed the scene of her waking up and screaming twice. |

The new trailer won't run on my web browser. I don't know exactly what they showed as compared to the Access Hollywood story. They did show on the Access Hollywood story a piece with Jaime fighting Sarah on a roof top in the rain at night. They exchange blows. They showed Jaime jumping from roof top to roof top at night in the rain. She lands on the roof and runs down a tin roof then falls on her backside. She deflects a large knife which is thrown at her with her Bionic arm. They showed about a second of what she sees with her Bionic eye. It looked very Terminator like. There was an outline of a person then a round, red target zoomed in on them. It looked like it took place during the night time roof top scene. They also showed her doing a leap from one building to another during the day. It looks like that one set picture we saw with the stunt woman hanging off the ledge.
They talked over most of the scenes. They only showed a tiny bit of the operating room scene and didn't show Ruth or Jonas. Well I saw Jonas for about half a second. |

Touche!
Preview sounds good, much more insightful than the trailer i saw which only shows the accident, the operation and Jaimie waking up/freaking out
Though it did have Miguel Ferrer in it which can only be a bonus |

The bank in the town where I live has a display case. Every month someone from the community creates a display of something they collect like, coins, Disney, coke cans, dishes. I have done displays of G.I.Joe/Action man, Star Wars, Superman, and Doctor Who. (I asked if I could do a display for Doctor Who because the new series was going to premiere in the states on Sci-Fi. The woman at the bank didn't know what Doctor Who was but they let me do it. After I made the display with Doctor Who magazines, videos, books, comics, toys, figures and trading cards, they still didn't know what it was.)
I asked and got permission to make a Six Million Dollar Man/Bionic Woman display for the month September. I told them I wanted to do it because of the new show, which they hadn't heard of but they remembered the original series. They like my displays. I'm very fussy with them and try to make them look good.
I saw my former boss the other day and he asked me several questions about the new Bionic Woman. He didn't know about this site.
I made a big display for the local theater a couple of years ago for War of the Worlds. Out of the hundreds of theaters in the chain, the promotion was in the top ten. I also did a small display for Alien Vs Predator and Casino Royale. |

My local paper The Ithaca Journal puts out a TV Journal every Friday. On the back of today's Journal is an article titled "Many questions arise from fall schedule" by Franzier Moore. It doesn't mention Bionic Woman but it does discuss pilots and how new shows are scheduled for the fall season.
It has a color picture of Michelle Ryan as Jaime Sommers in the right bottom corner. It's a close up, shoulder shot of her in the rain during the fight she has with Sarah. |

| Tonight on the NBC reality series "America's Got Talent" they aired a clip for Bionic Woman. There wasn't any new footage. It showed her waking up and screaming at the sight of her legs and the leap she makes in the rain from one building to another. |

| I saw another teaser trailer on NBC last night. It shows Michelle's (or a body double's) bear back and arms against a white background. The words "under construction" are seen. We hear Michelle saying, "Why did you let them do this to me?" The camera pans around and we see the right side of Michelle's face and her right eye looks Bionic. It looks like it does in the picture on the front page of this site. Then we see the words "Bionic Woman". |

| Over at wwwbionicwebsite, they report there will be a BE panel at San Diego. I couldn't find the report at Comic-cons' site though. At the same site they reort that CNN Money claims the BW pilot cost eight million to make. |
