Has anyone else, besides Alex gotten the DVD st yet? BTW, Alex where did you get yours? It wasn't released in the US yet whrn you posted your review.
I bought mine last week. On sale, of course. I never pay full retail price for DVDs or video games. I've only watched the first episode with commentary by David Eick. He talks a littel about the USA Network trying to redelvelop the show. Says they tried more than once. He also said that the Tony Anthros character was created because NBC wanted such a character for the series. More proof of NBC screwing with series early on.
Recent comments Eick made at a Scifi Channel event in New York add more proof that that this version of the series really is done. However, Eick seemed to hint that he or someone else might try redelvelop BW again.
If the DVD set sells better than expected, does anybody think that NBCU give BW another try on a cable network, sooner rather than later? I mean try again all over again with a differnt cast ect? |

I think it's too late to save the show. My understanding is it is doing well in the UK on ITV2. Perhaps ITV and Universal could work out some deal to produce more episodes? I think it's highly unlikely though.
The only way I see Bionic Woman coming back is if Universal works out the copywrite issues and does a sequel to the original show. This is very unlikely.
NBC is going to have a press conference next week where they will announce their 52 week schedule.
I think it's over. It very odd the series did so well right off the bat then the ratings just tanked so quickly. It's also odd NBC said they would relaunch the series then cancel it.
It doesn't add up. _________________ You are a facinating blend of beauty and truely remarkable strength. |

| I ment would they do an all new BW with an all new cast and producers? Start all over again. A whole, new show for cable. No Michelle Ryan. |
